  • Candle Wax Removal

    - Scrape off excess wax using a stiff non-metallic tool such as a credit card or popsicle stick. Once the majority of the wax is removed follow the steps outlined below in "Brushed Brass"

  • Machined and Cast Brass Products

    - If the surface develops scratches use fine steel wool to gently buff out the scratch going in the same linear or rotational direction the product has. Please note that this will also slightly brighten and polish the material changing the luster of this area so be prepared to do this to the entire surface for a consistent finish. Clean with dish soap when finished.
    - If an even brighter finish is desired or there are some darker stains that are difficult to remove you can use a metal polish such as Maas or a polishing cloth to help restore its shine.

  • Mirror Polished Hardware
    -
    Although unlacquered our brass and stainless hardware generally does not patina very quickly due to its extra smooth mirror polish. If desired, you can use a metal polish such as Maas or a polishing cloth to help restore its shine.

  • Raw Aluminum Products
    -
    Please note that our Raw Standing Bowl is unfinished and will naturally get darker and develop a patina with time and touch. The bead blast finish is somewhat fragile and more subject to scratching than our powder coated bowls. Avoid using aggressive cleaners, abrasive powders or wire brushes. Hand wash with dish soap and towel dry.
    - If the surface develops scratches, use a fine steel wool to gently buff out the scratch. Please note that this will slightly change the luster of the polished spot so be prepared to do this to the entire surface for a consistent finish.

  • Copper & Silver Products
    -
    These mirror polished products the luster or allow copper to develop a naturally darker patina over time. Avoid using aggressive cleaners, abrasive powders, steel wool or wire brushes to clean. Use a soft white cotton cloth (t-shirt is ideal) with a metal polish such as Maas or a polishing cloth to help restore its shine.

  • Powder Coated Products

    - Wash by hand with dish soap and let drip dry.

  • Stone & Marble Products
    -
    Candle Holders: Be sure to remove excess wax from the candle holder to clean or before inserting a new candle. Use a razor or credit card to scrape off excess wax.
    - Platters and Trivets: Use a damp cloth or gentle cleanser to clean.

  • Wood Products
    -
    Use a damp cloth or gentle cleanser to clean. Apply natural mineral oil whenever the wood looks dry to prolong the life of the product and prevent cracking.

  • Glass Products
    -
    Wash glass vessels by hand with dish soap and let drip dry.
