wax Removal
*Note: It is best to wear gloves while polishing to prevent further tarnish to the piece and to keep your hands clean from metal residue.
Brass and Stone Products:
Step 1: Use a non-metal object to gently scrape on an angle until wax is cleanly off the surface.
Step 2: Wipe with clean, dry cloth.
Brass Polishing
*Note: It is best to wear gloves while polishing to prevent further tarnish to the piece and to keep your hands clean from metal residue.
Spindle Candle Holder:
Step 1: Begin with the stem and while applying moderate pressure, brush up and down the stem. For a more even polish, rotate the spindle while brushing.
Step 2: Wrap the steel wool around the base, apply moderate pressure, and rotate the base.
*If you wish to polish the bottom of the base, brush in small circular motions until desired finish is achieved.
Step 3: Wrap the steel wool around the top, apply moderate pressure, and rotate the top.
*If there is residue in the top wax catch, use a wooden popsicle stick or tongue depressor that fits the gap to clear the wax.
Step 4: Wipe with clean, dry cloth.
Stacking Candle Holder:

Step 1: Begin with the votive base and while applying moderate pressure, brush around the base while rotating.
Step 2: Wrap the steel wool around the taper base, apply moderate pressure, and rotate.
Step 3: If there is residue in either wax catch, use a wooden popsicle stick or tongue depressor that fits the gap to clear the wax.
Step 4: Wrap steel wool around a finger that will fit in the wax catch and brush with moderate pressure while rotating the candle holder.
Step 5: Wipe with clean, dry cloth.
